Bulgaria project – Pureco’s contribution in the modernization of the Vratsa waste water treatment plant Hungarian experts have begun the development and modernization of the waste water treatment plant in Vratsa, Bulgaria. The facility services 60 000 inhabitants and was built in 1968. The plant’s mechanical engineering, instrumentation and control systems are modernized by Pureco Ltd.The team of Pureco Ltd. is responsible for managing, delivering, upgrading and installing motorized and manual sluices, coarse and fine grills, conveyors, sand/sludge dehydrators, blowers, traveling bridges, sedimentation tanks, pumps, mixers, valves, sludge dewatering and aeration systems and the electrical control technology. As a result of the development works the capacity of the plant will increase and the quality of the treated water will comply in every aspect with the European standards. The trucks transporting the products and equipment departed to Vratsa the last week of July. The project will be completed this fall. We are pleased to support an international project in Bulgaria with our expertise and knowledge.
