GRP No-Dig installation

GRP No-Dig installation

The infrastructural investment in Debrecen’s Northwest Economic Zone is being built with Pureco’s GRP pipes In the industrial park where BMW factory is built Pureco GRP pipe system (DN 1500, type SN 10 000, PN1, manufactured by ROREX PIPE Srl.) was installed in the length of 2.5 km for the stormwater drainage channel. Our GRP pipes are used as a pipe material both for drinking water and sewage networks and also for stormwater drainage systems, fire water networks and industrial solutions. The pipes are produced with the most modern technology and made with a rounding cylinder process. With this method pipes are made in the size of 10 cm to 4 meters in diameter. The process uses glass fiber, polyester resin and silica sand, in addition to which chemical additives are used for surface coating. The fiberglass reinforcement of the pipeline makes the product extremely strong, whether it is high-pressure medium or an external load or a longitudinal load. High load capacity also results in long life, efficient operation, and low maintenance costs providing a sustainable, affordable, and cost-effective solution for operators, owners and consumers. In this case the venue is special. The route of the sewer line crosses the Debrecen-Balmazújváros railway track and a minor public road. These days computer-controlled so-called microtunelling equipment is not a unique methodology but on this construction site the sizes could have been a particular challenge. The work was successful and after a continuous operation for 45 working hours the injection was carried out precisely in 80 meter long. For extrusion we had to apply for an individual operating and installation permit from the competent directorate of MÁV. After successful testing the validation for the full product scale is our next task that opens the possibility for similar orders. In the present case, we extruded in a diameter of DN 1500, at the deepest point at a depth of 6 m. We with our proven partner, ROREX PIPE Srl normally produce the GRP pipe in the rigidity of SN 100,000 Pa for the given length in such constructions. The collected rainfall falling on the area of the industrial park is led to Lake Látóképi through the DN 1500 line.
